A little procrati-post—plus a certain BL catalogue entry ;)

It’s that time of year: I have a pile of exams to get through and will soon have a dozen third-year papers on Troilus and Criseyde to read (which, of course, I am genuinely looking forward to). As I have decided to wait until tomorrow to make my ‘not-marking’ banana bread, and given that I have realised I have long neglected this silly little site I keep paying for, I reckoned I ought to make some good use of my evening.

During my first-year students’ exam today, as I was working on my paper for Kalamazoo this coming May, my rustling through old electronic files led to a chance rediscovery in my too-cluttered folders. To be honest, I only found this file (or, rather, rememberd I’d made it years ago) because I tried to go the the British Library site to see how their restoration of digitised MSS after the cyber-attack is going. Update: not swift.

In short: please find attached and available to all an edited, archived version of the catalogue for the Simeon manuscript (BL, Add. 22283) that used to accompany the fully digitised manuscript.

(BL, Add. 22283, fol. 61v [detail])
